Molly Velasquez Perdomo

It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother, Molly Velasquez Perdomo, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of eighty-two. Molly was born in Los Angeles, California on May 17, 1943. She spent her childhood in Pacoima, CA. She then later started a family of her own and was married for many years to Oscar I. Perdomo until his passing in 2003. She is survived by her children Felix Cortez, Oscar Perdomo (Sandra), Olga Rodriguez, along with four grandchildren Brian Carletta, Jacqueline Perdomo, Samantha Carletta, Orion Rodriguez, and one great-grandchild Ventus Rodriguez, all who brought her endless happiness. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, whether through watching T.V. or a good movie, puzzles, card games, knitting slippers and visiting others by talking on the phone. She loved her time spent living in Colorado, where she found a wonderful church that became family to her. They helped her grow spiritually, learning and volunteering was her passion. She felt such warmth and support serving, she showed up to events just so she could help and reach people in the community. Meeting others and the sense of fellowship brought her immense fulfillment. She was known for her kindness, love of family, and how she touched many others throughout her time spent here. She loved so many people that she called her family. Molly will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. Molly is at eternal rest and reunited with her husband, Oscar I. Perdomo, her daughter, Elizabeth (Liz) Carletta, her parents, Lupe G. Hernandez and Myra Lomeli Hernandez, her siblings, Jose Velasquez (Melinda), Angel Hernandez, Terry Hernandez, and so many others that are now together looking down on us as our guardian angels. She will be cherished for all the memories she leaves behind and is missed very deeply. Funeral services will be on Friday, December 19, 2025, with the viewing starting at 10:00 am, service at 11:30 am held at Utter McKinley, 11071 Columbus Ave., Mission Hills, CA 91345, followed by the burial set at Mission Cemetery.
