Anna Marie Leger was born on February 21, 1927 in Leominster, Massachusetts to Angelo and Assunta Tata. She was the fourth youngest of five children. After Anna graduated from Leominster High School, she worked at Cluett Peabody, an Apparel Manufacturing Company. She went to many dances where she met and then married the late Frank Leger. Together, they moved to California in 1956 with their daughter, Pamela. They were soon blessed with their son, Michael. Anna was a homemaker for most of her adult life. She worked part-time volunteering at De La Salle as a Hamburger Lady passing out McDonald’s hamburgers to the grade school kids. She also worked at Alemany High School Attendance Office where kids did not want to be late. She also volunteered at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center at the Information Desk for 16 years. She enjoyed watching many LA sports teams, travelling and spending time with family & friends, cooking, and baking Christmas cookies. Her greatest joy in life was taking care of her two grandchildren. Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Frank and daughter, Pamela. She leaves behind her son Michael, daughter-in-law, Cyndi, her grandchildren, Grant and Kiani, along with many close relatives and friends.
